SGMA Series – Public Information Meetings, December 9 and 10, 2020
The Colusa Groundwater Authority (CGA) and Glenn Groundwater Authority (GGA) hosted two online public workshops to engage and inform the public about local groundwater regulation as an outcome of the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act (SGMA) and the development of the Groundwater Sustainability Plan (GSP) for the Colusa Subbasin. Public Workshops, September, 2019
The Colusa Groundwater Authority (CGA) and Glenn Groundwater Authority (GGA) (Agencies) hosted a pair of public workshops about local groundwater conditions and areas of concern in portions of Colusa and Glenn Counties. The workshops provided a brief overview of SGMA and Groundwater Sustainability Plan requirements, up-to-date, technical information about groundwater conditions and related topics with a focus on sustainability issues in the Colusa Subbasin.

CGA Town Hall Meetings
The Colusa Groundwater Authority hosted three Town Hall-style public outreach meetings, in coordination with the Colusa County Groundwater Commission. These meetings provided an opportunity for landowners to hear the latest updates on local implementation of the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act. CGA Board Members and Staff were on hand to answer any questions. The meetings were held at the following times/locations:
Arbuckle/Williams/College City
March 6 at 6:00 p.m. at the Odd Fellows Building in downtown Arbuckle
Colusa/Princeton/Grimes
March 14 at 6:00 p.m. at the Colusa Veteran’s Hall
Maxwell/Williams
March 20 at 6:00 p.m. at the Sites Project Authority Office in Maxwell

January 31, 2019 Public Information Meeting
A public information meeting regarding long-term funding of the Colusa Groundwater Authority was held on January 31, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. at the Colusa Indian Community Events Center, 3720 Highway 45, Colusa, CA 95932. Landowners in the CGA’s jurisdiction received an announcement about this meeting in the mail in mid-January.
